Welcome to The Cogges Kitchen, a delightful cafe nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Witney, United Kingdom. Located on Church Ln, this charming spot promises a warm, inviting atmosphere that encapsulates the essence of a traditional country cafe.

At The Cogges Kitchen, every meal is a celebration of homemade goodness and locally sourced ingredients. Start your day right with their hearty Breakfast Baps: think fluffy buns filled with the classic taste of Bakers Butchers Cumberland sausage (£5.95) or back bacon (£5.95). For something lighter yet satisfying, try their Bowl of Cogges Kitchen Granola (£3.90) – a wholesome choice that invigorates your morning.

As the sun rises higher, The Cogges Kitchen transitions seamlessly into lunch service, where the menu serves up a variety of delectable treats. Indulge in a slice of their Warm Quiche of the Day (£7.50), paired perfectly with a side of coleslaw and mixed leaves drizzled with herb dressing. For something with a bit of local flair, the Cornish Pasty (£5.80) is a must-try, offering a flaky pastry packed with hearty fillings that evoke the spirit of the West Country.

But it’s not just the meals that make The Cogges Kitchen a must-visit; it’s the entire experience. The cafe is set within beautifully maintained grounds, making it a haven for families and friends looking to enjoy a leisurely afternoon. As customer Mikey T aptly noted, this cafe is popular among families, and the delightful cuppa tea is served at a fair price. In fact, you don’t even need to visit the house and grounds to enjoy what this cafe has to offer!

With a selection of luscious cakes and tasty snacks, the adventure doesn’t have to end with lunch. Treat yourself to a Fruit Scone with clotted cream and jam (£3.90) or a Toasted Teacake (£3.00) that perfectly encapsulates the essence of a cozy afternoon tea.

As Adam Blackwell raves, The Cogges Kitchen stands out in a sea of chain cafes. Their attention to detail and consistent quality ensure you’ll savor every sip and bite, whether you're there for an early breakfast or a comfortable lunch. So come and experience the charm and flavors that this wonderful cafe has to offer – it’s more than just food; it’s an experience that warms the heart.

I have been using this cafe for the last 2 years and have always had great coffee (you would be surprised how many cafes can't make a simple mocha but always perfect here). The food has always been good too. A country cafe not chain blandness! Well worth a visit.
